About The Position

The Utility position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, service ware, and equipment to support a safe, efficient, and sanitary operation. The role includes washing dishes, utensils, and cookware; cleaning kitchen facilities; managing waste and recyclables; and operating kitchen machinery. The Utility follows company policies and safety standards, communicates professionally with staff and management, and completes assigned tasks efficiently in a potentially fast-paced setting with heavy workloads. The role has no supervisory duties and supports overall kitchen operations and cleanliness standards.

The position requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment may involve exposure to heat, cold, noise, and occasional fumes. Proper protective clothing and adherence to safety procedures are required. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be needed.
