About The Position

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Dishwasher/Utility Employee helps maintain a smooth, efficient, and guest-ready bakery operation. The role meets high-volume dishwashing demands and maintains a clean, sanitized bakery while demonstrating a commitment to the company’s core values, excellence, and efficiency. The employee also supports baking and production, including preparing ingredients and equipment, assisting with baking, and maintaining product packaging and storage standards. Employees at a franchised bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator, not Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Manually wash, rinse, and sanitize baking pans, dishes, utensils, and other tools according to company standards.
• Monitor sanitization levels for compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Gather and remove garbage; sweep and mop floors; and clean floor drains.
• Routinely clean windows, shelves, counters, refrigerators, coolers, and bathrooms.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation and prepare cleaning supplies for the next shift.
• Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with unloading, processing, and storing weekly supply deliveries.
• Support team members with cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene requirements.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Use measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assist the baker in preparing raw ingredients and equipment, placing cake pans in the oven, and monitoring the baking process.
• Assist with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Follow proper packaging, labeling, storage, and product-rotation standards for baked cakes, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
