About The Position

The Utility Worker washes, repairs, and performs limited painting on containers to clean, cover, or protect interior and exterior surfaces. The role includes minor repairs such as axle repair or replacement, moving containers within the yard, loading and unloading new and used containers from trucks, and monitoring container inventory. The employee follows work orders or supervisor instructions and performs other general duties as required. The position is safety-sensitive and requires strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. Ongoing employment may include drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strictly comply with safety rules and protocols.
• May be subject to pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive supervisor instructions for minor painting and repairs on assigned containers.
• Perform minor container repairs, including axle repair or replacement.
• Wash container interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Move containers within the yard.
• Load and unload new and used containers from trucks.
• Perform minor painting duties.
• Monitor the site’s container inventory.
• Perform general duties and responsibilities as required.
