About The Position

The Utility Worker/Helper supports daily operations by assisting with general labor tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, handling materials, and providing support to team members as needed. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment. ABM provides integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions across sectors including commercial real estate, aviation, education, mission critical, and manufacturing and distribution.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong work ethic and dependability.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, facilities, or labor environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies.
Perform general labor duties, including cleaning work areas and maintaining organization.
Support skilled workers and technicians with routine tasks and projects.
Operate basic tools and equipment safely.
Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Assist with setup and breakdown of workstations, equipment, or events as needed.
Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly.
Complete assigned duties efficiently and accurately.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
