About The Position

The Utility Worker washes containers and performs minor repairs and limited painting to clean, cover, or protect interior and exterior surfaces. The role includes minor repairs such as axle repair or replacement, moving containers within the yard, loading and unloading new and used containers from trucks, and monitoring container inventory. The position is designated safety-sensitive and requires strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. Drug and alcohol testing may be required in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive supervisor instructions regarding minor painting and repairs to assigned containers.
• Perform minor container repairs, including axle repair or replacement.
• Wash container interiors or exteriors as needed.
• Move containers within the yard.
• Load and unload new and used containers from trucks.
• Perform minor painting duties.
• Monitor the site's container inventory.
• Perform general duties and responsibilities as required.
