About The Position

The Utility Worker reports to the General Manager and helps maintain a clean, orderly kitchen environment. The role includes washing dishes and kitchen equipment, receiving and organizing products, cleaning and rotating the walk-in cooler, and assisting with food preparation. The Utility Worker is expected to provide great customer service while representing both the client and NEXDINE Hospitality. Other duties may be assigned by the Chef Manager.

Requirements

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Receive products from vendors and organize stock.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef Manager.
• Provide great customer service while representing the client and NEXDINE.
