UTILITY SUPPORT SERVICES (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Utility Support Services associate at Marvell in Santa Clara, California. The position ensures sanitary kitchens, galleys, and other common areas, and maintains kitchen and general work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. The pay range is $21.00 to $22.00 per hour. The role provides attentive customer service and maintains sanitation standards in accordance with company, client, and government requirements. Duties may include planning cleaning schedules, maintaining and cleaning food-service and common areas, washing dishes and utensils, managing supplies and inventory, preparing food when applicable, and supporting beverage service. Previous kitchen, porter, and sanitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service through one-on-one attention to detail.
- Maintain the highest sanitary standards in accordance with company, client, and government requirements.
- Plan cleaning and work schedules.
- Advise management of purchasing needs, with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
- Maintain equipment in good order and promptly report deficiencies to a supervisor.
- Sort, count, fold, mark, and carry linens; make beds.
- Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
- Transport trash to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Clean and sanitize galley and dining areas.
- Break down and clean the steam table.
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
- Refill condiments and stock as needed.
- Prepare food when applicable.
- Make and/or fill coffee, juice, tea, and other available beverages.
- Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
