About The Position

The Floor Care Specialist operates and maintains commercial cleaning equipment and performs floor care, including burnishing and buffing terrazzo floors. Equipment may include automatic scrubbers, carpet cleaning equipment, and ride-on or walk-behind machinery. The role requires maintaining equipment and performing minor repairs. The position involves traveling to multiple local accounts and working a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
• One to two years of janitorial services experience with training in floor care.
• Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment, including burnishers, buffers, automatic scrubbers, carpet-cleaning equipment, and ride-on or walk-behind equipment.
• Ability to maintain equipment and conduct minor repairs.
• Good communication skills and ability to read and write English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments.
• Willingness to train others in proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel to multiple local accounts.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
