About The Position

Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, is seeking a Utility Steward to join its Stewarding team. The resort is located on 40 acres of tropical gardens and has 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and seven food and beverage outlets. The Utility Steward helps keep kitchen and dining areas clean while contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by completing cleaning tasks such as mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
