About The Position

Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, is hiring a Public Area Attendant to join its Housekeeping Team. The role helps ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel’s public spaces while providing warm, memorable hospitality to guests. The resort is located on 40 acres and has 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and seven food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in designated public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and emptying trash.
Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and promptly resolve service requests.
Assist with guest room cleaning and fulfill service requests when needed.
Perform periodic deep-cleaning projects, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
