About The Position

As Utility Sales Director at GE Vernova, you will own strategically important customer relationships in North American wind, lead large and complex transactions, set account strategy, and position GE Vernova as a long-term partner to utilities and energy companies. The role involves developing account strategy and customer relationships, leading complex commercial transactions, monitoring market developments, and coordinating cross-business growth. Where applicable, it also includes coaching and managing commercial team members. This is a remote position with travel of 50% based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive sales experience with a demonstrated record of closing large, complex, multi-year transactions, including deals of $100 million or more.

  • Established network and credibility within the North American utility, IPP, developer, or comparable energy sector.
  • Deep understanding of wind or comparable markets for large, capital-intensive equipment, including competitor positioning.
  • Strong, fact-based negotiation skills, including the ability to construct and defend deal terms using data, regulatory insight, and financial analysis.
