An employee in this class serves as the department's primary coordinator for utility project implementation and cross-functional operational initiatives. The position facilitates communication and coordination among engineering staff, utility operations, contractors, consultants, developers, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects and programs are completed efficiently and in compliance with applicable requirements. Responsibilities emphasize project coordination, operational planning, regulatory program administration, and asset management rather than engineering design or direct field supervision. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Deputy Water Resources Director.
