About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Utility Laborer to join an underground utility construction team. The position installs water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience working in trenches, setting pipe to grade, and safely installing underground utilities. Travel to Oklahoma is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to travel is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, and storm drainpipe according to project specifications and grade requirements.
• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to support project success.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
