About The Position

BMW of Bloomfield is seeking a Used Vehicle Buyer to join their team. This role is responsible for building a used-car inventory through various channels, appraising vehicles, negotiating prices, and making financially sound purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dealership role, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in a dealership role - sales, BDC, or service advising preferred
• Able to work individually with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
• Must be able to work in a drug free workplace

Responsibilities

• Building a used-car inventory through direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues
• Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and ensure timely processing of all purchases
• Responsible for monitoring retail trends and participating in the inventory planning process
• Deliver a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner
