About The Position

The Used Car Technician works in the Service Department at Tonkin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat in Milwaukie, Oregon, diagnosing and repairing vehicles in a fast-paced dealership shop equipped with updated facilities and equipment. The role is full-time and offers a flat-rate wage of $25.00–$35.00 per hour. Certifications are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of prior automotive technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
