Toyota of Fayetteville, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a Pre-Owned Sales manager to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. Requirements

  • At least two years of automotive retail management experience.
  • At least two years of automotive retail sales experience.
  • Familiarity with VAuto and/or Ebiz.
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two-three years sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • State salesperson license may also be required.

Nice To Haves

  • BA or Associate's Degree.
  • Two-three years sales experience within auto industry.
  • State Salespersons License may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our customers have a world-class car-buying experience at every step along their sales journey.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of expertise to help customers find the vehicle they're looking for, including comprehensive knowledge of available products and services, collaborative approach pricing negotiations, grounding of lease returns, lease retention and service customer appraisals.
  • Actively manage the pre-owned inventory, including photographing new and pre-owned vehicles, working with the wholesale disposition of vehicles.
  • Ensure sales team is motivated and trained on all products and services, set sales goals based on individual skill levels, and maintain and display an appealing inventory of pre-owned vehicles to draw the interest of customers.
  • Strive to grow the dealership and your career by setting monthly and annual goals for the Pre-Owned Sales Department with the General Manager and reporting on your progress.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the dealership.
  • Build rapport with customer base and create a trusting work environment.
  • Prioritize performance measures, collect relevant information, selectively audit performance and encourage individuals to self-assess and take their own initiatives to continuously improve.
  • Foster a cooperative team style and focus on the qualities and behaviors of a winning team.
  • Lead by example, maintain focus on brand building, demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness, and promote self-reliance and continuous improvement.
  • Convey and communicate information using internal and external IT systems appropriately.
