About The Position

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Physician Associate to join its urology practice, which includes three physicians and three other advanced practice providers. The practice serves adult and pediatric patients and has a strong referral base. The Physician Associate provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in the specialty under physician supervision.

The call schedule is described as a manageable 1:6 weekends and 1:4 weekly workday. The position offers a four-day clinical week and one administrative day, with 40 scheduled hours per week. Requirements

• Physician Associate (PA) certification/licensure through the State of Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the practice's weekend and weekly workday call rotation.
