Urology Advanced Practitioner(PA/NP) Fellow
About The Position
Lahey Institute of Urology, as a member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System, is currently recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider for their urology fellowship program. This world-renowned Division of Urology, recognized for its physician residency program, provides the ideal setting to offer the newest innovation in urologic education in now its 5th offering. It is our goal to provide a world recognized training program to promote advanced practice providers to deliver outstanding urologic care. It is our belief that in doing so we will foster excellence in the future of urologic practice. Lahey Hospital Institute of Urology AP Fellowship program was established to prepare certified graduate Physician Assistants (Associates) and Nurse Practitioners as autonomous urologic providers who train under the scope of their license to practice in a supportive learning environment with a supervising physician and identified mentors. The fellowship program provides the Urology APP fellow with the urologic knowledge base/skill set to provide inpatient, outpatient, and intraoperative care that will be necessary to make sound clinical judgments and proficiently perform urologic skills. The Urology APP fellow will be trained to work at the top of their scope of practice, while maintaining self-awareness of the importance of never exceeding their level of clinical competence.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Valid NP or PA license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Strong desire to work in Urology
Nice To Haves
- At least one or more years of advanced practice experience is preferred
- APs looking to make a career change
