About The Position
Provide inpatient urology call coverage in Salisbury, Maryland, for the specified dates. Coverage is beeper call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with a 1:4 call ratio and a 30-minute response time. The coverage period is November 25 through December 26, 2026, with shifts to fill from November 25 at 7 a.m. to November 27 at 7 a.m., and December 23 at 7 a.m. to December 26 at 7 a.m. The reason for coverage is supplemental. The average daily volume is 1–3 patients, with 1–3 admissions and 1–3 phone consults. Rounding includes both inpatient and other rounding. The facility uses Epic and is a Level III trauma center. Hospital privileges are not required; temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board certified (BC).
- Maryland medical license.
- BLS certification.
- Fellowship required.
Responsibilities
- Provide urology call coverage for the specified dates.
- Manage urologic emergencies and consultations.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed.
- Round on inpatients.
- Coordinate care with hospital staff.
