About The Position
A locum tenens Urologist will provide supplemental clinical and call coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings in Fargo, North Dakota. Coverage is scheduled for 7–14 days per month, or 1–2 weeks per month, with a Monday–Friday clinic and procedure schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The coverage period begins January 4, 2027, and continues ongoing. The role includes weeknight call from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 24-hour weekend call, with a 15-minute response time and beeper call. The physician will care for assigned patients and manage callbacks and follow-up. The facility uses Epic and is a Level II trauma center. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the vendor.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE).
- North Dakota license or IMLC eligibility/licensure.
- Active DEA.

Responsibilities
- Provide urology coverage for 1–2 weeks per month as scheduled.
- Conduct outpatient clinic and perform urology procedures Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Handle on-call duties on weeknights from 5 p.m.–8 a.m. and weekends, including call and callback.
- Manage patient callbacks and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the onsite team and use the Epic EMR system.
