About The Position
A locum tenens Urologist is needed to provide supplemental coverage at an outpatient clinic in Aurora, Illinois, from January 25, 2027, through July 26, 2027. The position includes clinical coverage and in-house call for adult and geriatric patients, with a general urology case mix. Patient volume is to be determined. The schedule includes two to three 8-hour weekday clinical shifts per week and three 24-hour call shifts per week. Call response time is 30 minutes. The physician will provide clinic coverage, perform general (“bread and butter”) urology procedures, cover emergency-room call, and manage inpatient rounding and consultations. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active Illinois license or Universal License through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- Board certification in Urology.
- DEA registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urology.
- Hospital privileges are required.
- IMLC candidates must have a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
Responsibilities
