Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
  • This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Candidates must excel in managing complex cases and providing compassionate, patient-focused care.
  • Follows Standard Precautions and uses appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure patient and staff safety.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory analyses, to identify urological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may involve medication management, minimally invasive procedures, or surgical interventions.
  • Utilize specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Conduct surgeries, including abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal procedures, when necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about urological health, preventive measures, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
