About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Urologist in Fargo, ND, providing outpatient clinical coverage and call. The coverage period is from September 28 to December 31, 2026, to cover maternity/paternity leave. The role involves seeing an average of 14 patients per day, with 1-6 admissions. Phone consults may be around 2 per clinic day. The case mix includes Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and is a Trauma Level II. Office equipment includes Urodynamics equipment, and support staff includes 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 PA/NP, and 4 Office Staff. Hospital privileges are required, and temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active North Dakota (ND) license or IMLC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fellowship required

Responsibilities
- Provide urology consultation and treatment in outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform surgical procedures including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries.
- Manage urologic emergencies and provide call coverage via beeper.
- Utilize urodynamics equipment for diagnostic studies.
- Collaborate with a collegial group of healthcare professionals.
