About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Urologist at its Largo Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of more than 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. Physicians work with a comprehensive electronic health record to coordinate care and focus on long-term health, prevention, diagnosis, and effective treatment.

The Urologist will work in a supportive, collegial regional group of more than twenty urologists and collaborate with an integrated team that includes in-house surgical and medical specialties. The department includes general urologists and specialists with expertise in oncology, robotics, men’s health, endourology, and reconstruction. The role offers access to office and operating-room equipment, including multiple robots, as well as imaging technology, operating rooms, and procedural suites. Call is 1:10 at DC/MD core hospitals.

MAPMG physicians provide patient-centered, culturally competent care; communicate thoughtfully by listening, educating, and advocating; lead with integrity; value teamwork; act transparently and honestly; and go above and beyond for patients. The stated starting annual salary is $485,000. A $50,000 forgivable loan is offered as a new-hire incentive.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

Responsibilities
