About The Position

Urgent Care Physician Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid Training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. The physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. The full-time role is 4-5 days per week, while the part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available).

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
