Urgent Care Physician - Dothan, AL
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for their Dothan, AL location. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly wound rounds. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
