About The Position

Join Jefferson Health and help shape advanced practice care across its expanding urgent care network. The Physician Assistant will provide high-quality, on-demand care in a collaborative team setting, serving diverse patient populations in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. The role offers a broad scope of practice in fast-paced urgent care settings, supported by network protocols, Epic electronic medical records, and access to specialty referrals across Jefferson Health. The position is based onsite at the Whitehall–MacArthur Road location.

The role includes care for minor injuries and illnesses, on-site procedures, and point-of-care testing. Clinicians work with APCs, physicians, nurses, and support staff, and may work across multiple health centers. The position offers a predictable rotating schedule with no overnight shifts, as well as opportunities for continuing education, mentorship, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania state license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, or ability to obtain one.
• NCCPA Board Certification for Physician Assistants.
• National Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a similar specialty.
• Passion for clinical work that positively impacts patient care, safety, and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of relevant clinical experience as a PA or CRNP is preferred.
