About The Position

Westmed Medical Group, a Summit Health Company, is hiring full-time board-certified Family Medicine Physicians or Emergency Medicine Physicians for its Urgent Care department. Physicians provide immediate care to patients of all ages with non-life-threatening conditions and illnesses at walk-in centers in White Plains, Rye, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Greenwich. No appointment is needed. The centers offer on-site laboratory and imaging capabilities and are accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America, reflecting high standards for scope of care, quality, and patient safety. The team diagnoses and treats minor illnesses and injuries, as well as more complicated concerns, with the goal of keeping patients safe and out of the hospital when care is not an emergency. Physicians help patients access follow-up care with a Westmed primary care physician or specialist to support continuity of care. The company offers competitive compensation and benefits, a work/life balance, and no overnight shifts. Compensation is listed at $155–$185 per hour; the actual determination depends on factors including experience, performance, quality measures, and location.

Requirements

Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities
