Urgent Care Physician
About The Position
Westmed Medical Group, a Summit Health Company, is hiring full-time, board-certified Family Medicine Physicians or Emergency Medicine Physicians for its Urgent Care department. Physicians provide immediate care to patients of all ages with non-life-threatening conditions and illnesses at walk-in Urgent Care Centers in White Plains, Rye, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Greenwich. No appointment is needed, and the centers have on-site laboratory and imaging capabilities. The Urgent Care team diagnoses and treats minor illnesses and injuries as well as more complicated concerns. The aim is to keep patients safe and out of the hospital when their condition is not an emergency, and to support follow-up with a Westmed primary care physician or specialist for continuity of care. The centers are accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America, with recognition for meeting high operational standards in scope of care, quality, and patient safety. Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
