About The Position

As a Parts and Services Supervisor, this role plans and coordinates activities to meet schedule requirements safely. The supervisor oversees shop employees, evaluates and coaches them to improve performance and productivity, and works with Sales Representatives to grow the business. The position also coordinates field service work, parts sales, service-truck maintenance, and operational procedures while keeping the Field Service Manager informed of safety, quality, and schedule issues.

Requirements

Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and tools.
Proficiency with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to production, purchasing, and operational materials.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Demonstrated leadership attributes: embrace diversity and inclusion, listen actively, pursue continual learning, act authentically, and collaborate across groups.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Organizational Leadership, or Technology.

Responsibilities

Establish quotes and pricing for field service repairs, estimate costs, and develop customer sales proposals.
Schedule and plan service work to meet customer needs and deadlines while maintaining optimal utilization.
Order parts for work orders and arrange shipment of parts.
Arrange crew travel, airfare, and rental cars.
Process fabricated parts for Part Sales, including order entry and delivery.
Coordinate maintenance of service trucks, including DOT inspections, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
Develop and recommend procedures and supporting policies to establish and achieve schedules and quality standards at favorable cost.
Implement established procedures and policies through effective supervision.
Plan, organize, and coordinate jobs to maximize production efficiency and safety.
Keep the Field Service Manager advised of safety concerns, quality problems, concerns, and delays.
Suggest methods, improvements, or alternate methods and materials to reduce cost or improve quality.
Work with other business-unit members to meet strategic objectives.
Enter appropriate details in visual and other computer programs to maintain databases and produce reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervise shop employees and evaluate and coach them to improve performance and productivity.
Work with Sales Representatives to help grow the business.
