About The Position

As a Parts and Services Supervisor, you will plan and coordinate activities to meet schedule requirements safely. You will supervise shop employees, evaluate and coach them to improve performance and productivity, and work with Sales Representatives to grow the business. The role involves coordinating service work, parts, customer proposals, travel, service trucks, production efficiency, safety, and quality. You will also maintain information in visual and other computer programs and produce reports as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred; preferred majors include Business, Organizational Leadership, or Technology.
Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and tools.
Proficiency with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to production, purchasing, and operational materials.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Establish quotes and pricing for field service repairs, estimate costs, and develop customer sales proposals.
Schedule and plan service work to meet customer needs and deadlines while maintaining optimal utilization.
Order parts for work orders and ship parts.
Arrange travel, airfare, and rental cars for crews.
Process fabricated parts for Part Sales, including order entry and delivery.
Coordinate maintenance of service trucks, including DOT inspections and equipment maintenance and repair.
Develop and recommend procedures and supporting policies to establish and achieve schedules and quality standards at the most favorable cost.
Implement established procedures and policies through effective supervision.
Plan, organize, and coordinate jobs to maximize production efficiency and safety.
Keep the Field Service Manager advised of safety concerns, quality problems, concerns, and delays.
Suggest methods, improvements, or alternative methods and materials to reduce costs or improve quality.
Work closely with other business unit members to meet strategic objectives.
Enter appropriate details into visual and other computer programs to maintain databases and produce reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervise shop employees and evaluate and coach them to improve performance and productivity.
Work with Sales Representatives to continue growing the business.
