About The Position

Being a full-time Unlicensed Outpatient Therapist- Evidence Based has its advantages! As an Outpatient Clinician at Devereux Community Services located in Malvern, Pa, you will be involved in conducting individual and family therapy in an office location with flexibility in scheduling your appointments. This position allows clinicians the opportunity to work with individuals ranging in age from 2 to 21 years old, depending on enrollment through a school district, with a wide range of clinical diagnoses. We are looking for someone to provide a minimum of 24 hours of individual, family and collateral therapy per week, including intakes as needed. A minimum of 6 hours per week must be evidence based billing (ie:DBT, TF-CBT, PCIT).

Requirements

• Masters in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work.
• Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule.
• Must have the ability to travel to and from work site, and be at least 21 years of age.
• Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Current Evidenced Based curriculum certification preferred, but will train qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes as necessary and deliver individual and family therapy.
• Create initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
• Review all Psychiatric evaluations and ensure that recommendations are being followed.
• Assists in hospitalization if required.
