About The Position

This position involves conducting individual and family therapy in an office setting with flexibility in scheduling appointments. The role focuses on working with individuals ranging in age from 2 to 21 years old, depending on enrollment through a school district, and who present with a wide range of clinical diagnoses. The goal is to help individuals become resilient and focused on their own wellness and recovery.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
  • Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be adaptable to changing workload
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule
  • Must have the ability to travel to and from work site
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Completes intakes as necessary and delivers individual and family therapy for a minimum of 10 hrs. per week.
  • Creates initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
  • Reviews all Psychiatric evaluations and recommendations are being followed.
  • Assists in hospitalization if required.
