About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Part Time Outpatient Therapist to join their team. This role involves conducting individual and family therapy for individuals ranging in age from 2 to 21 years old. The position offers specialized training opportunities, free clinical supervision, and the chance to collaborate with an integrated treatment team. The therapist will work with individuals with a wide range of clinical diagnoses, including those served by Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS), which caters to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
  • Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required.
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule.
  • Must have the ability to travel to and from work site, and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Completes intakes as necessary and delivers individual and family therapy for a minimum of 10 hrs. per week.
  • Creates initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
  • Reviews all Psychiatric evaluations and recommendations are being followed.
  • Assists in hospitalization if required.
