About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Unlicensed Outpatient Therapist- Evidence Based to join their team in Malvern, PA. This role involves conducting individual and family therapy for individuals aged 2 to 21, with a variety of clinical diagnoses. The position requires providing a minimum of 24 hours of therapy per week, including intakes, with at least 6 hours dedicated to evidence-based practices like DBT, TF-CBT, or PCIT. The role offers specialized training opportunities, collaboration with an integrated treatment team, schedule flexibility, and the possibility for remote work. Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges.

Requirements

• Masters in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work.
• Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule.
• Must have the ability to travel to and from work site, and be at least 21 years of age.
• Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Current Evidenced Based curriculum certification preferred, but will train qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes as necessary and deliver individual and family therapy.
• Create initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
• Review all Psychiatric evaluations and ensure that recommendations are being followed.
• Assists in hospitalization if required.
