About The Position

The Universal Banker delivers exceptional service, builds meaningful relationships with members, and provides financial solutions. The role welcomes and assists members, processes a variety of transactions, resolves questions, and educates members about digital banking. It also involves opening accounts, processing and funding consumer loan applications, understanding members’ needs, recommending suitable solutions, following up with members, and contributing to branch sales and service goals. The position supports branch operations by balancing cash drawers, assisting with end-of-day balancing, preparing account and loan documentation, following regulatory requirements, maintaining knowledge of products and procedures, and protecting member information. The Universal Banker also shares best practices, mentors Tellers and USR I team members, participates in branch meetings and community and business development activities, and collaborates with teammates to provide an excellent member experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist members professionally and enthusiastically.
Accurately process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and wire transfers.
Resolve member questions and provide personalized support.
Educate members about digital banking tools and services.
Open new accounts and assist members with financial products.
Process and fund consumer loan applications.
Understand members’ needs and recommend beneficial financial solutions.
Make follow-up calls to ensure member satisfaction and identify additional ways to help.
Contribute to branch sales and service goals through consultative conversations and referrals.
Balance cash drawers and assist with end-of-day branch balancing.
Prepare account and loan documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain knowledge of Mission Fed products, services, policies, and procedures.
Protect member information and uphold security standards.
Share best practices and mentor Tellers and USR I team members.
Participate in branch meetings, sales initiatives, community events, and business development activities.
Collaborate with teammates to create an exceptional member experience.
