About The Position

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to build customer relationships and loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is part-time, 20 hours, at the Palm Beach Gardens branch. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
• Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to protect customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions, consider the firm's reputation and safeguard Citi, client, and firm assets; comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies; apply sound ethical judgment; and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
