About The Position

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and properly handling assigned monies. Deliver high-quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs. The role is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This is a regular, part-time position for 20 hours per week, based in Holden Beach, with a first-shift schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship-building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including willingness to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills needed for branch automation.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel as needed to accommodate temporary staffing requirements, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnight stays may be included.

Nice To Haves

• One year of client relationship-building or sales experience.
• Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous engagement, conversation, and completion of standardized and more complex transactions, seeking assistance as needed.
• Educate clients about digital and self-service banking options, including ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking.
• Support sales through client outreach and outbound calls, checking for client offers, identifying needs and opportunities, meeting those needs, or referring clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
• Apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to connect clients with Truist expertise and solutions for their needs.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Build individual and product knowledge by attending sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and applicable training and web-based learning.
• Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed of policy and procedure changes.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, and offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects.
• Handle a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
