About The Position

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to foster customer relationships, build loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is part-time at the Covina branch, for 20 hours. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience.
Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist existing customers with basic account opening.
Provide service to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
Create sales opportunities from service transactions and promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints and issues.
Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
Follow operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to protect customer and bank assets.
Assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation and assets, comply with applicable laws and policies, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
