About The Position

The Unit Manager is a nursing leadership role for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) who provides excellent patient care and supports the professional growth of the unit team. The role works together with the Director of Nursing to promote quality care and customer service, foster positive staff relationships, attract and retain talented team members, and supervise and coach employees in the assigned unit.

Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed LPN/LVN in good standing with the state, as required.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Stable work history and dedication and commitment to leading the healthcare team.
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee relationships.
Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Work with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care and outstanding customer service for patients and their families.
Create and maintain positive employee relationships among staff in the assigned unit.
Attract and retain talented team members.
Supervise and career-coach team members in the assigned unit.
