About The Position
The Unit Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing care of all residents on the assigned unit. The role supervises licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in delivering care and manages the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing practice standards, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The candidate must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN or LPN license, or ability to obtain an Indiana license.

- Management experience, or willingness and desire to learn appropriate staff-management approaches.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care of all residents on the assigned unit.
- Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care.
- Manage the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing practice standards, and federal and state laws and regulations.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Teach, lead, and mentor staff.
- Use clinical knowledge to meet the needs of residents, families, and staff.
- Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
