About The Position

The Unit Manager is responsible and accountable for nursing care for all residents on the assigned unit. This role supervises licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in delivering care and manages the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing practice standards, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The position is full-time on days and is open to an RN or LPN.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Management experience, or willingness and desire to learn approaches to managing staff.
• Ability to use clinical knowledge to meet the needs of residents, resident families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care of residents on the assigned unit.
• Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care.
• Manage the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing practice standards, and federal and state laws and regulations.
• Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
• Teach, lead, and mentor staff.
