About The Position
Coastal Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse with leadership experience to serve as Unit Manager. The role provides clinical and team leadership to support exceptional resident care, develop nursing staff, and promote positive outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Unit Manager oversees nursing staff, conducts medical assessments, implements treatment plans, coordinates staffing, ensures documentation and regulatory compliance, responds to resident and family concerns, and contributes to staff development and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience; experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
- At least 1 year of nursing leadership or administrative experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for patient-centered care and team development.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, implement treatment plans, and ensure compliance with care standards.
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage, assist in hiring, and support team development.
- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Work with families and staff to address grievances and maintain resident rights.
- Mentor nursing staff and participate in training programs, including Preceptor Training.
- Implement ideas and processes to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.
