About The Position

Cypress Village is recruiting a hospitality-focused Nurse Manager to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care and services provided by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists. The RN Manager is responsible for overall nursing care and services on their shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, documentation, and emergency calls as indicated. Duties also include administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, obtaining specimens as needed, and completing required documentation.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Employees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or apply for and receive an approved exemption as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on the assigned shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round twice per shift to ensure proper care is provided in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Delegate and supervise care and services provided by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists.
• Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete required documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, documentation, and emergency calls as indicated.
