About The Position

PNC is hiring an Underwriter III within its Regional Credit Product Group. The role is based in Troy, Michigan, or Clayton, Missouri, and is in-office. The underwriter works independently with little or no oversight, exercises exception and elevated approval authority, and prepares loan offerings for transactions of any type or complexity or manages an assigned portfolio. The role may coach or review other underwriters’ work and fill in for a manager. It also involves gathering and clarifying information, carrying out pre-approval and post-approval activities, identifying or confirming regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, and recommending or making credit decisions as appropriate.
