About The Position

At PNC, employees work together to deliver a strong customer experience and foster an inclusive workplace. The Commercial Underwriter III works within PNC's Central Credit Products Group and may be based remotely in select geographic locations, subject to approval. It also gathers and clarifies information with internal and external parties, performs pre- and post-approval activities, confirms applicable regulatory requirements, ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, and recommends or makes credit decisions as appropriate. Experience in credit or portfolio management in specialty lending segments such as nonprofit organizations, nonprofit healthcare organizations, and municipal governments is preferred. Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree and at least three years of relevant or direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired, though none are required for this position. A comparable combination of education and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
