Underground Production Miner - Long-Hole Loader

This position, reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor (Production), is responsible for the safe and efficient completion of long hole loading.
Requirements
- 3-5 years underground experience
- Accreditation in U/G common core modules and specialty modules
- Strong safety focus
- Self-motivated ability to work alone
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience long hole loading
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blast layouts and using bulk and packaged explosives
- Cleaning holes and preparing for blasts
- Laying out detonators and boosters
- Stemming of holes
- Installation and grouting of cable bolts, ensuring proper columns on holes and tying in blasts using Nonel and Electronic Initiation systems
- Any other duties as directed by supervisor
