About The Position

Fidelity is offering 10-week summer internship opportunities for college-level students through its FIDTERN Program. This program is designed to provide interns with a meaningful experience where they can support business-critical projects, hone their career paths, and learn about Fidelity's business and culture. The program includes weekly events such as webinars, community service, networking events, and social outings. Interns will have the opportunity to network with peers, team members, leaders, and mentors through a structured Intern Mentor Program. The goal is to identify future Fidelity associates, and interns may be considered for future internships and full-time positions. The internship program will be in-person.

Requirements

  • Current college student who will return to coursework after their Summer 2026 internship has ended.
  • Dynamic, curious, innovative, conscientious, and believe in the true value of collaboration.
  • Strong problem solving and Excel skills (for Operations roles).
  • Strong EQ and communication skills, and are analytical problem solvers (for Human Resources roles).
  • Analytical and enjoy problem solving (for Actuary roles).
  • Appetite for learning, natural problem solvers and love collaborating (for Business Administration roles).
  • Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical demeanor, and love problem solving (for Risk, Compliance, & Audit roles).
  • Strong Excel and data skills (for Finance roles).
  • Client-focused approach, emotional intelligence, professional communication, and being customer-obsessed (for Client Relations roles).

Responsibilities

  • Support business-critical projects that help meet Fidelity's needs.
  • Participate in weekly FIDTERN Summer Series events, including webinars, community service, networking events, and outings.
  • Network with approximately 1,000 interns annually, business team members, leaders, and assigned mentors.
  • Engage in the structured Intern Mentor Program.
  • Apply passion for technology and problem-solving skills to address technology needs (for Technology roles).
  • Work closely with clients and business partners to ensure seamless delivery of products and services (for Operations roles).
  • Gain a broad, cross-functional understanding of the HR function (for Human Resources roles).
  • Engage in actuarial science or quantitative finance activities (for Actuary roles).
  • Participate in roles within marketing/events, communications, and corporate services (for Business Administration roles).
  • Protect the interests of customers, associates, and Fidelity's brand (for Risk, Compliance, & Audit roles).
  • Provide detailed financial information to the company’s businesses (for Finance roles).
  • Join a variety of different roles including Financial Consulting, Customer Relationship Advocate, Account Management, and Sales (for Client Relations roles).
