About The Position

The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) is a full-time, paid, 10-week program designed to offer students meaningful, real-world work and project experience as valued members of a dedicated team. The program aims to provide interns with a firsthand experience of working at Fidelity full-time, fostering a sense of belonging and community, while delivering critical training and development for future associates. Interns can expect to participate in Professional & Financial Development Sessions, including exclusive webinars on career and personal growth, senior leader insights, professional communication, workplace well-being, and financial literacy. An optional mentorship program connects interns with experienced professionals for guidance. Regional events are organized to build connections with leaders and fellow interns through engaging onsite experiences and social outings.

Responsibilities

Gain exposure to different HR areas such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Benefits, Line HR, Associate Experience, T&D Learning, Compensation, Employee Relations, etc., through formal learning sessions.
Participate in meetings with Fidelity associates and occasionally outside vendor partners.
Build business acumen in a dedicated assignment area.
Learn corporate communication styles and how to navigate the workplace effectively.
Professionally network with multiple associates across various levels within Fidelity HR.
Creatively assess assignment areas over the internship and present assessments and analysis of learnings to leadership.
