About The Position

The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) is a full-time, paid, 10-week program designed to offer students meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team. The program provides students with a firsthand experience of what it's like to work at Fidelity full-time, fostering a sense of belonging and community while delivering critical training and development for future associates. Interns can expect professional and financial development sessions, including webinars on essential career and personal growth skills, insights from senior leaders, professional communication training, well-being strategies, and financial literacy workshops. The program also offers an optional mentorship program to connect interns with experienced professionals and regional events for networking and social activities.

Responsibilities

Gain exposure to different HR areas such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Benefits, Line HR, Associate Experience, T&D Learning, Compensation, Employee Relations, etc., through formal learning sessions.
Participate in meetings with Fidelity associates and occasionally outside vendor partners.
Build business acumen in a dedicated assignment area and learn corporate communication styles and effective workplace navigation.
Professionally network with multiple associates across various levels within Fidelity HR.
Creatively assess assignment areas over the internship and present findings and analysis of learnings to leadership.
